    We are EXCITED about your interest in CIA activities!  

    Children In Action is a local 501c3 nonprofit ministry focused on the whole child.  CIA partners with parents and educators to strengthen each child academically and physically, teaching skills to direct their passions, ​and instilling lifelong habits that will sustain them.

    Barnabas Club brings children from all race, social and economic backgrounds together to encourage the importance of making good choices and demonstrating what is achievable through teamwork...  Transportation is available from Altama Elementary, C.B. Greer Elementary, Glyndale Elementary School, Golden Isles Elementary, Goodyear Elementary School, and Needwood Middle Schools.  There is no weekly charge.  Participants are required to participate in fundraising activities, volunteer hours and snacks.

    Afternoon activities consist of a healthy snack, 45 minutes organized Tohubohu time, 45 minutes student/homework, 45 minutes athletic/physical activities, 45 minutes huddle/devotion and character/development teaching soft skills to control their passions, and planting seeds to impact their eternal life. 

    Children are taught through biblical stories that:
    Poor Choices = Bad Consequences
    Good Choices = Good Consequences
     
    Please note; filling out an application does not enroll a child into Barnabas Club.  Once an application has been received, reviewed and a potential opening is identified, you will be notified.  CIA is intentional in identifying a good fit for both the child and parent.  That process is as follows;
    1.  an invitation is extended to attend a group Q&A (question and answer) meeting for both the parent and child,
    2. an interview is scheduled with the parent and child to review application information and tour the facility, 
    3. a final interview is scheduled with a director to discuss goals for each child with both parent and child.

    Summer Registration

    CIA offers free camps to children between the ages of 7 and 12, Monday-Thursday from 8:30-12:30 throughout the summer. 
    All camps are located at CIA and include breakfast served at 8:30 am and lunch served at noon.  Please visit our Home page for directions.
    Camps dates are as follows:
    Basketball June 5th-8th (Coach Jesse Watkins)
    Flag Rugby June 12th-15th (Coach Kevin Kavanaugh)
    Baseball/Softball  June 19th-22nd 
    Game Week  June 26th-29th

    NO CAMPS THE WEEK OF JULY 3rd-7th

CIA is a local 501c3 nonprofit organization intentional in building relationships 
with children ages 7-12, ​and their families, to help make healthy choices ​for their lives​
Basketball Registration now open
CIA's Basketball league is designed to bring together children from all backgrounds to provide a competitive league centered on building teamwork & character. Our goal is to create a league where each participant will experience community regardless of race, age, or socioeconomic background.

LEAGUE Values

  • Registration is open to boys and girls ages 7-12 (as of January 1) beginning November 1st
  • Cost is $30 per child (Please email [email protected] to inquire about scholarships)
  • Teams will meet three times a week (Two weekday practices, Tuesday & Thursday, and one Saturday game)
  • Teams will NOT meet on Sun or Wed to allow families to attend Church Services
  • Volunteer opportunities: coaching, scorekeeper and huddle leader
​Barnabas Club is a free after-school program bringing children from all race, social and economic backgrounds together to encourage the importance of making good choices and demonstrating what is achievable through teamwork...

There is no financial charge for the Barnabas Club, however participants are required to participate in fundraising activities, volunteer hours and snacks.

Afternoon activities consist of a healthy snack, 30 minutes supervised free time, 45 minutes huddle/devotion and character development, 45 minutes homework and 45 minutes of physical activity.

Jail your boss for charity!  Deadline is Nov. 7 for anyone working in Glynn County, Ga., to nominate their boss to be apprehended by local police.  Each boss will be voluntarily rounded up Nov. 13 and asked to make $500 bail, which will benefit Children In Action Sports Club ministry.  To put your boss’s name on “CIA’s Most Wanted” list, send us a direct message, comment on this, or post your recommendation our timeline.
