Children In Action Sports Club (or CIA Sports Club) has been delighted to be the host site of Brunswick's We Can! program.  In August 2009, Brunswick became the third city in Georgia to join We Can!.  Since then, Brunswick's embrace of the program has strengthened We Can!'s presence in Georgia's Coastal Health District, which now includes five We Can! Cities and Counties.

Brunswick has experienced great success with We Can! programming, community events, and local partnerships.
CIA hosted several Family Field Days in 2009, and has continued with successful events. Community partners provided volunteers to man jump rope, tug–of–war, flag football, batting cages, dodge-ball, soccer drills, sack races, horseshoes, and several other relay activities.

In January 2010, C.I.A. hosted a We Can! regional training, which attracted approximately 60 attendees from Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts, and South Carolina.

Other partners to the City of Brunswick include the Coastal Health District, Glynn County Health Department, The LINKS, Inc., HealthyGlynn.com, Anytime Fitness, Advance Rehabilitation, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

Brunswick's partners are actively engaged in the community–wide effort to address youth obesity and overweight prevention. Partners assist with all aspects of the program, from donating fresh fruit and water for snacks at community events, to volunteering their time to facilitate activities at We Can! Field Days—community events that encourage the whole family to get active—and even scheduling, coordinating, and delivering Media–Smart Youth programs at local after school centers.

Excellence in Giving recognizes Transparency when charities share more data about governance, finances, strategy, and impact than the IRS requires. Each recognized charity has submitted 175 data points about operations and performance for donors to review before making an informed giving decision.

Transparency seal recipients voluntarily disclose debt levels, Board engagement, 3-year program and financial trends, impact stats, strategic plans, and even an internal S.W.O.T. analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). 2-page Nonprofit Analytics reveal the challenges and successes an organization has experienced executing its strategy, funding its operations, and achieving its mission. In a world where too many dishonest nonprofits have made headlines, the Transparency certification distinguishes a new breed of nonprofits committed to a higher standard of open and accountable relationships with donors.
